  1.                               ADJUSTMENT HELP

  3. In the (M)ake and (E)dit modes:
  4.   -> Category: the general category into which this adjustment falls - for a
  5.        listing, press F1 when cursor is at the Category item.
  6.   -> (W)rite-off or (C)harge: if you wish to increase the client's balance due,
  7.        enter "C"; to decrease what you are owed, enter "W".
  8.   -> To prevent a portion of a description from appearing on the bill, enclose
  9.        that portion in curly brackets,"{}".
  10.   -> To prevent EVERYTHING (except the amount of the receipt) from appearing
  11.        on bill, begin the description with an asterisk, "*".
  12.  
  13. In the (H)unt mode:
  14.   -> Be sure that gates B and C are set for the proper range of dates to be
  15.        covered by the hunt.
  16.   -> If you want BillPower to report only those adjustments which are for cases
  17.        in a certain Area of Business range, set gates D & E accordingly; set
  18.        gates F and G if you want only certain categories of adjustments to
  19.        be reported.
  20.   -> If you want transactions other than adjustments to be included in the
  21.        hunt, set gates L to P accordingly.
  22.   -> Select the type of report you want to see by setting gate Q accordingly.
  23.   -> Press ALT-P to send report to printer.  ALT-F sends it to TEXT.MX file.
